AGT’s AIM service is based on a risk-based strategy for maintenance and inspection planning (i.e. time-based, condition-based, operational or corrective maintenance). These strategies are associated with company and plant objectives towards plant availability and safety. Methodologies like Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Risk Based Inspection (RBI) can be used to rank systems and equipment and develop strategies for maintenance and inspection.

Strategies are implemented through detailed planning, organizing (‘grouping’ and ‘job packing’) and scheduling. The AIM approach is a continuous improvement process and the strategies are reviewed & adjusted constantly based on ‘efficiency check’.

AGT has conducted several Reliability Centered Maintenance studies (RCM) for major Oil & Gas companies and has helped in implementation of such programs in ERP systems such as SAP and other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
