Asset management strategies developed by AIMS assurance processes such as RBI, RCM, SIL etc can be termed as living program as it is not developed from one time study. Plant has to learn from failures & root cause analysis to improve & fine tune the strategies. This however requires a thorough study of the equipment history and group sessions to review the current program in the CMMS / ERP for possible revision.
